First off let me say happy new year to you all, Secondly sorry for the MIA-ness it was def not intentional. I actually was going to try to post every Friday starting this year but apparently my Internet connection didn't agree with this decision--ORR the people I was using their wifi from. Either way I'm back to having to share the computer with my family which is annoying to say the least. To catch everyone who actually reads my blog up, I've finished my Cognitive Psychology class with a B, started my History or Psychology class went on a winter break finished my class yesterday with a 94 (*insert happy dance*). Over break I was working like a crazy woman, only slower since I am pregnant. As far as the pregnancy it's gotten better and worse. Better as I don't have morning sickness much anymore worse because my back is KILLING me like seriously. Oh Ahh New Years was pretty chill, I worked NYE and went to my best friends house and brought the new year in with her and her fiance, my godsons and my boyfriend and I. What are everyones Resolution's, mine is to be a super awesome mother and to go to the salon at least once a month. L.O.V.E. : Holiday Voxbox Edition

Happy Friday everyone, today isn't just any old Friday, its the Friday before Christmas! Are you all excited?! I sure am I can't wait to see what my awesome boyfriend got me. Like I know what it is but I don't haha. Anyways lets get to the point:

Laughter: Earlier this week me and my sister watched Looney Tunes and the most ridiculous thing I heard was bugs line toward Daffy, the conversation goes as follows;

Bugs: Are you really going there?

Daffy:Yea, I'm going there!!

Grandma: Where is he going!?

Bugs: Because if you go there, I will go there! And you do not want to be there when I get there! Because when I get there, I will be so there, that you will wish you would stay right Here!!

Opinion: If your boyfriend says he doesn't want a Christmas gift, but you want to give him one, what would you give him?

Variety: So, I was supposed to be working today but my pregnant self got sick on the job, so it would've been a waste to try to work because one I threw up and therefore can't handle food, two I work around food so it would just be pointless to stay. So, I'm home being on mother issued bed-rest because my mom freaked out. Sad thing is this week was supposed to be a big week but being that Georgia decided to rain everyday this week except for today my next check is going to be CRAP.

Excitement: Yesterday was my moms birthday, she turned 46 woo!! I got her some socks, no not that stupid boring socks. Some soft and fuzzy ones, her feet are always cold so I figured who says you can't have fashionable socks and be warm at the same time?

imPress Nails: Claims, no drying time, lasting shine, easy removal and lasts up to a week. Mine lasted actually a little over a week, it would have been as long as about two weeks if it wasn't for my job not allowing nail polish being that we work around food. I was really impressed with how much it lasts and it doesn't chip or anything.
SoftSoap: I had my sister use for a week to evaluate and it was a fresh clean scent and felt like it was doing exactly what it claimed, exfoliate.
Face Mask: I am already familiar with the Montagne Jeunesse products, so this of course was no different from the others 5 stars all around
Lip Gloss: Good neutral color, so an applause for that, when it doubt of a lip color neutral is the way to go on every skin color. Not too sticky or slippery, good consistency, but the wand could've been better.
Mentos: Actually I gave the gum to my boyfriend because my sister and I tried it and it was entirely too minty for us, but he loves it.
Larabar: Like the face mask, I'm already a fan of larabar's so this product was gone within 5 minutes of receiving my box.

I do realize that I am behind on my Friday postings, So i will catch you all up on what has happened over the past month of craziness. Firstly I finished my Cognitive Psychology class right before thanksgiving, which was taking up much of my time with a B- (insert happy dance). Then Thanksgiving occurred, along with weekend work, plus I was cooking slowly (being prego is tiring). The Monday after thanksgiving we found out that were having a boy, a cute little hyper baby boy. All last week I was just being a bum really, and working over the weekend. I started my next class this past Thursday, Systems of Psychology hoorah. It was alright, Im really not liking the fact that a paper is due the first day of class for each of these on-campus classes but whatever. Today, I bought my moms birthday gift(some cozy socks because her feet are always cold). After that my day went a little weird, I kept getting dizzy even after i ate, was on my way home when I had to go get my grandpa so he could follow me over to our house. Other than those few events this week has been pretty chill. Oh but an exciting bit on info minus my son is that i qualify for the holiday voxbox from Influenster. So, once that comes in I'll have another review for you all.

Good Evening everyone,
I hope your weeks went by great and with ease. Is everyone's stores packed with toys and Christmas attire yet? Down here some stores were prepared for the holidays as early as October, the beginning of October not the end. I noticed the city has put up their holiday lights, there little snowflakes and stockings as usual on the street lights. Christmas is easily my favorite holiday because of the lights and decorations---there just so pretty.

L is for Laughter: Have you or no anyone referring to a mans chest as breasteses?! This afternoon my bff K referred to an actors chest as such and I almost peed laughing.
O is for Opinion: Now that the holiday season is among us what is everyone's take on these holiday favorite non favorite; eggnog and fruitcake
V is for Variety: Christmas Shopping...so far I just started by getting 1 gift so far hahaha
E is for Excitment: Earlier tonight while I was talking to my mom baby was just moving around so much it was funny, I wanted to catch my lil goober but knowing baby so far he/she would've stopped moving. Then when my mom was saying hello to the baby once I told her it was moving before, you know the lil gobber stopped moving hahaha

As mentioned I'll being doing a weekly post. I know i mentioned every Friday but since I had a review to post I moved it to Monday instead (this week only). Lets get started:

L is for laughter: "mmm smells good---it smells like seasoning" - my little sister while smelling the pack of taco seasoning
O is for opinion: When creating your baby registry what are the main things that you should have on the list besides diapers and wipes when you don't know the sex yet?
V is for variety: Any old wives tales that actually turned out to be true as far as the sex of the baby is concerned? The 28th is so far away
E is for excitement: This Saturday boyfriend came over and my sister, bf and i made tacos. It was the funnest 'date' yet even though all we did was cook tacos watch the LSU vs. BAMA game and a movie with my mom. It's nights like those that makes me just warm and fussy inside. Oh and he wanted to listen to my tummy and he said it sounded like similar to a stomach grumble but it was more of a consistent squishing sound. I figured he heard baby squishing water around since with his head on my tummy baby was def moving around like "ahhh what is that?!" lol
VoxBox Review:
Last Monday I received 3 products to review which were the Venus ProSkin Moisture Rich Razor, Vitabath Shower Gel, and Proactive Acne Treatment.

Venus Razor:
By far my favorite product. An easy to open package and the refill packages are neatly packaged as well. 3 blades, built in moisture gel bars, similar to the intuition razors there is no need for shaving gel. Also the shower suction that holds the razor up on the shower wall actually stays put. The razor itself is light weight and not bulky and easy to use in the shower. I LOVE this product.

Vitabath Shower Gel:
Sodium &Paraben free, the shower gel smells just really clean. When your using it in the shower it suds up quickly and he scent is not a super strong smell which is good for people that are sensitive to strong scents. I really like this product its a good shower gel when I want a good clean feeling.

Proactive Acne Treatment:
Step 1 which is the cleanser is of a thin creamy consistency, It did not like the feel like my face was thoroughly cleaned.
Step 2 which was the toner, had a lil sting but overall the toner was like a typical toner
Step 3 the moisturizer is a decent moisturizer creamy but not oily
I intended on trying proactive for an entire week but after the second day I realized proactive didn't get rid of my 2 pimples that were starting to come but seemed to create more breakouts. After that I stopped using proactive and gave the products to my younger sister to use. At first it seemed to be working great for her, as the week continued she noticed she had a reaction as well. Small skin irritated bumps formed on her entire face and after a while she claims they started to hurt a little as well. So she too stopped using proactive due to it irritated her skin. Not to discredit Proactive of its claims, but it should be noted that Proactive is not for all skin types.
Overall, I really enjoyed reviewing all of these products, my favorite product would have to be the Venus razor, I definitely intend of purchasing the refills when I run out. I'd like to thank Influenster for allowing me to review these products and I look forward to reviewing more in the future.

So, I know I apparently like to take a hiatus a tad bit too much for those who do read my blog and for that I apologize. A lot has happened since my last post here's a list

got laid off for the season at work
started school
got prego
started new temp job

So, with all that and having a horrible nausea first trimester I haven't had the energy or time to post like I wanted. This time I would at least like to post once a week, like every Friday like a Friday of love(of the week of course) I'll put that in my calender to start that next Friday. Like usual I'll have the topics of the week the same just all posted on one day. I suppose that'll give the post more 'umph'? Anyways, how all is well in the world of blogs and bloggsters.

E is for Excitement

This week I haven't really had much excitement. Actually quite the opposite, I started off the week knowing this Saturday would be my last day at work simply because they cut the ours so much my check would only fill my gas tank once. Then on Tuesday I began class which is rather boring being that its an online 'welcome to college' class. As if I haven't been in college for the past *insert undisclosed number* years, but what ever it's only one class. Other than that my week has been pretty bland besides the fact that the boyfriend text me ' I love you' yesterday morning which was quite adorable of him---he's such a softie macho haha. Oh, I went to border's yesterday there going out of business and I have found about 5 books I just have to give my godson. I feel like If he doesn't know anything my baby is going to know how to read even if he's just almost 2. Today started off pretty bland until my mom came home and checked the mail and monies were in there for me from my other reason for a hiatus, Vampire Diaries. So since I got money I went and bought my godson one of his b-day gifts and bought me a new shampoo and conditioner this time no sulfate or sodium. That was pretty much it, tomorrow I'll be heading back to borders before work to get those books along with a cook book.

Sorry for another hiatus guys but I've been working not only at Stone Mountain Park but I was also doing extra work for a television show. Anyways today's post of laughter is a story and quote from my lil cousin during my reunion a couple weeks ago. The event was at a lake, all of the younger cousins my age and younger were hanging out at the shore. My sister and youngest cousin Jadeli, which is 8 were hanging out with us. My sister has glasses and can't see that well with them. So were all playing the water and my Jadeli goes " You need to be baptized blind people first!" my sister goes "No... I'm not blind" Jadeli says " You need a blessing from Jesus!!" I know it probably doesn't sound funny reading it but believe me I almost cried laughing because her face was so serious until I started laughing. Anyways I'm starting class tomorrow and in turn I'm trying to set up a stable schedule and get organized asap, so bare with me.

Today's E there's actually some excitement occuring for once. Tomorrow my family and I are going to a reunion at a lake but this year we'll be inside in a/c. Today, I went out and bought a new nail polish from Wet n Wild called Undercover(206B) yes it's pink that dreadful color but its a deep 'dirty' pink kind of mauve-ish i'd like to say--- Anyways I love the color so much. I'm on a lookout for Parisian decor like usual I can't seem to find the perfect picture so I did that for most of the day until I got tired of looking/ driving haha. Now I'm like 30 minutes late of posting this but anyways I have a reason. Today has been busy; first I went to an open interview at Forever 21 this morning then cleaned my room a little because my aunt was coming into town. Then she came at around 3 we chilled til mom came with food. After dinner we all went out to a couple stores because there's a reunion this weekend and mom is making baskets for the reunions raffle prize. Then when we got back we had to find a place to put cooper my aunts dog because my mom is allergic to animal hair. It's just been a lil just ridiculous. To make a long story short today's variety is a question: seeing this Casey Anthony case unravel and the judge releasing her on the 13th which is next Wednesday how do you all feel about her sentencing, do you think justice was served considering all fingers pointed at Casey for the death of her baby girl?

I know I've been gone for a while again, sorry. Once I get things in my life on an organized schedule and stable these posts will be more timely and such. Things have been crazy with work all night I've been sleeping during the days. Initially this post was to be posted yesterday but being that I worked 12 hrs the last thing that was on my mind when I came home at 1am was a blog. Anyways L is for Laughter is about a customer I was yesterday at work. She stood out only because of what she was wearing which was; lime green strapless bra with matching panties(which could be seen peeking out of her shorts), a fishnet shirt type thing over the bra and black shorts with black heels I believe. The reason this is on L is for Laughter is for the fact that Stone Mountain is a family park... why would anyone show up to a family oriented place looking like she's attending a stripper convention?! With that said I hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July.

Nothing really exciting has happened this week at all minus seeing the boyfriend. Its always exciting hanging with him. I found out my R. is having another boy, so I'm godmomma/auntie to two little boys. I know my baby G. will be a great big brother. Especially as protective he is over his momma and I, his lil brother is going to have his own lil pretty boy body guard. I love the lil family were growing. Once the boyfriend and I have a baby G&I will have a lil cousin to play with---I honestly can't wait.

Does it really matter how many schools you attending throughout the course of your college career or if you did eventually obtain a B.S.? I've moved schools since I've graduated High school because of schools being too expensive, my change of majors doesn't require such an expensive school. But, now I've found my degree and at a different school basically 5 years later. Is that a bad thing? I mean I'm still young and It's not like I have a long ways to go I'm half way finish.

Since our last conversation I've been a tad bit busy. Tuesday I went out with the boyfriend, we went to On The Border then went to the movie. I know last time I said we were going to double date but, J had to work so they canceled which didnt bother us at all. We had some quality 'us' time. We did watch The Hangover II, to say the least it was funny yet corny, annoying, but had you wondering. Also, not nearly as funny as the first. Wednesday I went to work for 2 hrs, yes 2 hrs. Our boss closed our stand down because we were not at all busy. Today, was a lazy day...kind of. I cleaned around (vacum cleaned). Then the little sister(I) and I went on a hunt for The Sims2 Bon Voyage or Pets. Apparently Bon Voyage is highly popular because we couldnt find it anywhere. We did find the last Pets collection at Best Buy and the little sister bought it. Then she treated us to some Chik Fil A..what a sweet lil sister, when she wants to be. After all that K came over and we hung out for a while. That..would be all that has happened so far. What's going on in your lives, hopefully its more exciting than mine.

This past week I've been slacking on these so I'm going to take a weeks break and come back organized hopefully. Excitement of the weekend was spending some quality time with the boyfriend. Saturday was a very eventful day in the negative since. My step-father ie. my sisters father(mother's ex) went a tad on the deep end. Situations played out and in the end really stressed out my mother and little sister. I was at a friends house so couldn't do much. Sunday he cooked us dinner and we watched a movie on the couch. We had steak, corn, and baked potato..oh and cookies. It sounds so boring when I type it but in actuality it was quiet domestic of us. I liked it---I even volunteered to wash dishes. Anyone who knows me knows I hate washing dishes but having my man cook for me just compelled me to wash dishes. Other exciting things occurred while with the boy but they'll be brought up again in time. Anyways I'll be back next week on top of things like I said.

Wednesday, I went out to run errands and have a me day. First of all I went to get gas...umm why is gas almost $4.00?! this is craziness. After that I went to get some lunch and have a relaxing day at B&N. Or so i thought, I got comfortable and started reading a magazine and these loud old women decided they were going to have there massive 10 ppl group discussion in the cafe portion of the store---umm RUDE! Yesterday was a semi eventful day, I called a bunch of places looking for a job applied to my old job Aeropostal (I hope they call me) then after that I went wash my car and get it all clean and sexified. My boyfriend came over at around 7 and we hung out for a couple hours and planned our lives basically. Now that everything is caught up lets move on to the present. Today, the boyfriend and I were supposed to hang out like from 5 until forever. We were going to take pictures and be at the park and go to the movies later, just be together and have fun. That was until his parents said they wanted him to come to dinner with them... In conclusion, he's been stolen from me by his parents lol...its not so bad assuming dinner doesn't last 500 hrs; we still might be able to catch a movie later tonight. Since our plans are just mixed up I'm going to hang out with K, whom I haven't seen since I've been back---pretty excited about that.
